Pampadum Chola

Pampadum Chola National Park is Near to TopStation. It is one of the smallest National Park in Kerala

Need to take pass to visit the park.
One forest Guard will accompany with us. It is better to avoid families and ladies inside the park , since need to walk 10-12 km inside Jungle.

Munnar Watter Falls ... western Ghats.

Cheeyappara is a famous waterfall near Munnar.

White water cascading down here over 7 steps.

Near to Cheeyappara, another water fall called Valara Waterfalls is present

In summer we can climb up to top of the fall.

Munnar is the union of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala.
One the way to Munnar we can see lot of small water falls and rivers.

Another nice water fall Near Lock Heart Gap. This around 20 km away from Munnar Town.

Attukal .. Munnar Watter Falls

Atuukal Watter Falls is about 9 kilometers from Munnar.Road to Attukal is narrow.

 


Attukal gives the view of waterfalls with rolling hills.Roaring water fall is formed after monsoons.

It provides amazing views of lush green hills, and fresh mountain air.

Kunadala Lake .. Munnar

Kundala River is a tourist point in Munnar -Idukki.
Early morning snow falls is a scenic view here

It is almost 25 km away from Munnar town and Boating is permitted in Kundala Dam.

Kurinji flowers blooming once in twelve years color the hills and valleys around Kundala lake

Kundala is around 1700m above sea level , there is one Arch Dam in Kundala river.

Sceneries in Mankulam – Munnar

Beautiful Sceneries starts after Adimali. We can see lot of small rivers, Tea Plantations, water falls...















Climbing through the hill, we can reach on top of this water fall, but it is adventurous + need help from local person who knows the way.

From Adimali, around 20 km to Mankulam.Need to take divertion from Adimali-Munnar road.

Mankulam is isolated from other places in Munnar. There is one short cut road to Munnar but condition is not good. Second way is come back to main Adimali-Munnar road and go to Munnar.

Way To Mankulam .. Munnar

Mankulam is another scenic location on the way to Munnar. Mankulam is After Adimali. It may take 2- 3 hours to fully visit Mankulam Village and Sceneries

Mankulam is a village surrounded by hills. This is a good place to visit on the way to Munnar . Small Vehicles (car/Jeep) is better to use to go to Mankulam

Road to Mankulam is not in good condition, specially in rainy seasons

Way to Munnar and Mankulam have some dangerous curves, rash driving should be avoided
